KEITH TILMAN HUBBARD,  3 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Tilman Hubbard, died very suddenly Wednesday morning after a short illness.  An autopsy revealed the fact that  intussusception (telescoping of the intestines) was the immediate cause of death.  The serious-
ness of the little fellow’s illness was not thought, either by the family or the attending physician, to be alarming until a few hours before death came.  The father was in Illinois at the bedside of a brother, who was seriously ill, when a message came for him to hurry home.  He started and reached home a few hours before the death angel came.  The following obituary has been handed in:

KEITH TILMAN HUBBARD,   son of Tilman and Anna Hubbard, was born Nov. 9, 1911;   departed from this life Sept. 16, 1914 at 9:30 o’clock. A.M., aged 2 years, 10 months and 7 days.

Our little darling, Keith, a little rosebud just leaving babyhood to enter into the boyish playfulness of a little child, will blossom into a pure innocent youth up in yonder home, where there will be no sin or sorrow.  Although he was a quiet child, he was always very bright and quick to learn, and since learning to talk, was always ready with his answer,  “we too,”  when anyone spoke of going anywhere or doing anything.

Funeral services were held at the home south of town yesterday afternoon, Rev. B. F. Clifton officiating, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Fraternal cemetery north of town. -s
